sober pride
SOBRIETY MAKES ME FEEL EMPOWERED.
I used to hide my sobriety, mumbling about "antibiotics" while ordering a diet Coke instead of wine. Sobriety made me feel small, secretive, and ashamed.
But one day I decided to own the hell out of it.
Today, I'm proud of who I am. Not in spite of my addiction -- but because of it.
Embracing my truth breaks stigma and shame, empowering others to do the same. It's about changing perceptions of sobriety in a drinking world, you see? Sobriety as something bold, brave, and badass.
sobriety is my badge of honor.
I love wearing it for the world to see.
"So I got this lil' number in the mail today. It represents the strength & passion of sober badassery. One of my favorites from @mybadassrecovery!
